What is JustOneCX?
JustOneCX puts five things inside your web app, in one place: tours, announcements, surveys, feature requests and chat. You connect your app once, then build everything in the dashboard. You don't need to be a developer to use it, but someone has to add one line of code to your site.
The six things you get
| Name | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tours | Step-by-step pop-ups that show users how to use a feature. |
| Announcements | Tell users about new features right inside your app. |
| Surveys | Ask users one or two questions at the right moment (NPS and more). |
| Roadmap & Changelog | Users suggest and vote on ideas. You show what you're building and what you shipped. |
| Chat | Talk to users inside your app. |
| Help center | Questions and answers your users can read without waiting for a person. |
| Analytics | See which steps users finish, where they drop off, and who comes back. |
Two helpers appear everywhere:
- Segments: "paying users", "signed up this week". You pick who sees what.
- Event log: everything users did, as it happens. Use it to check your setup works.
Three ways to set it up
- Do it yourself. Open Developers in the dashboard, copy the snippet and paste it where your site loads. Using Webflow, Framer, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or WordPress? See Website builders. Then build in the visual editor. See the Quickstart.
- Send it to your developer. Send them the Quickstart and your Public key from Developers. The Public key is safe to share. Never send your secret key.
- Ask your AI assistant. If you use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor in your own project, it can install JustOneCX and draft tours, announcements, surveys and What's new entries for you. You review and publish. See Build with AI.
Is it working?
The dashboard header shows a small status next to the page title:
- Local only: only local addresses (like
localhost) are allowed, so your live site can't load JustOneCX. Add your live address under Developers → Domains & CORS. - Waiting for first visit: open a page of your app with the snippet in it.
- Local only: only
localhostaddresses are allowed. Add your live address. - Connected: your app is sending visits.
If something doesn't show, see Troubleshooting.
Words you may see
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Public key | Safe to share. Goes in your app's snippet (the browser). |
| Agent token | Lets your AI tool act for you. One per person. |
| Secret key | Never share. Only for your own server. |
| Monthly active users (MAU) | People who used your app at least once in a month. Pricing is based on this. |
| identify | Tell JustOneCX who is signed in, so users don't see the same thing twice and you know who said what. |
| AI assistant | A tool such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor that works in your project. |
What an AI assistant can and can't do
It works as you, in one workspace, and only does what your role allows. It saves drafts. Publishing, and anything that changes what visitors see straight away, needs the Make changes live access level, which is off by default. It can delete a tour, announcement or survey, but only into the Trash, from where you (or it) can restore it; emptying the Trash is yours. It never sees your users' personal data. It can also build funnels, set chat business hours, response-time target and saved replies, and add custom domains for your public pages (a domain only goes live after you publish its DNS records). Things it can't do, such as billing, team members, roles and keys, it points you to in the dashboard.
